Our outdoor meetings are held for the benefit of Association members who are fully aware of and accept the risks involved. Potential beekeepers wishing to attend should contact the Secretary for advice and to be teamed with an experienced member. Clean protective clothing is required for all outdoor meetings, please ask for advice, the Group can provide some items. This is a precaution against the spread of varroa and disease from one apiary to another.
Saturday 4th May Beginner's meeting at Rod Pimm's apiary, at Culish, near Kilmuir. Meeting strats at 2pm prompt and is open to potentialbeekeepers and those with up to 3 year's experience. Please let Secretary know if clothing is required. Please see "Map" in menu for directions.
Wednesday 15th May at Pam Piercy's apiary at Findon Mills, 7pm for a prompt start.
May We plan an afternoon visit to Lochcarron, there will be Beginners' Sessions at either Fairfield Apiary or Findon Mills. Thereafter the apiary visits will be on the evening of the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Wednesday 20th February Graeme Sharpe spoke to us on "My method of beekeeping." As usual he had lots of useful tips.
Wednesday 21st November Willie Robson once again shared with us his wide experiences of beekeeping.
Wednesday 17th October A well attended Honey Show judged by Hamish Robertson, Struan Apiaries. Unfortunately not many photographs were worth displaying.
