Meeting On Broodminder App
NDBKA have invited us to a talk on the Broodminder system which some folk may have heard of  which sounds very interesting.
" The Broodminder hive sensor is placed in the hive to give temperature and humidity readings, the idea is that these readings can be interpreted from a distance to improve understanding of what is happening within the hive, reducing the disturbance to the colony by opening up the hive unnecessarily. It is claimed that the App can improve colony survival rates and honey harvests.
The first talk is on Tuesday the 7th October, where two of our members; Louise Baggley and David Vaughan, will share their experiences using this App.

Your members are welcome to attend. We meet at Cawdor Community Centre (Cawdor Primary School) from 7:30 – 9pm. Coffee and tea are served at the close of the talk."
